Communication
All schedule changes, cancellations, or terminations must be e-mailed (no texting).
Tuition Policy
- Tuition is due by the 25th of each month.
- Schedule changes must be made by the 15th of the month.
- There are no roll over payments into the next month’s tuition.
- If you are sick at the time of the monthly tuition due date you must still pay your tuition.
- New students must take no less than 3 lessons per month. Until such time that the student and Wendy Waller agree that fewer monthly lessons may be taken.
Tardiness
- There is no make-up of time due to students tardiness.
- Lesson minutes missed by Wendy will be documented and made up by Wendy.
Extended Leave, Vacation, or Termination of Lessons
- Notification must be made by e-mail (only) if student is taking an extended leave, going on vacation, or terminating lessons.
- Notification must occur no later than the 15th of the month prior to the 1st of the month in which the action takes place.
- A down payment of 2 lessons will be applied to your account and must be paid upon acceptance into Wendy Waller Voice Studio.
- Failing to notify Wendy Waller by the 15th of the month regarding the aforementioned circumstances will result in a non-refundable payment of the two lessons of down payment.
Absence and Make-ups
- Student may have a make-up with 24 hours notice.
- Students are allowed a total of 3 make-up lessons per 3 month period.
- Make-ups must be completed within the month the absence occurs.
- If student is sick the last week of the month students must complete the make up the following week (which means the student must take two lessons within one week).
- If student does not show for a lesson and makes no other arrangements, there will be no make-up lesson.
- If Wendy misses a lesson she will make up the lesson, or refund the lesson.
Wifi Lessons
- If student, or family member has been in close contact with a person with covid, or any other contagious virus/disease..Student must take their lesson via wi-fi.
- If Wendy cannot make it to a designated in person lesson the student must take their lesson via wi-fi, or forfeit the lesson.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds except for security deposits or possible absence by Wendy.
Wendy Waller reserves the right to refuse and/or discontinue lessons with any student for any reason at her own discretion.
Student Responsibility
Students are expected to bring the following to lessons: (1) water, (2) a Music Binder with Assigned Repertoire, hole-punched and organized, (3) a Recording Device (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
Students are expected to maintain regular practice schedules outside of lessons. Here are the minimum practice requirements: (A) 30 minutes, 3 times per week for beginning students, (B) 45 minutes, 3 times per week for intermediate students, (C), 60 minutes, 3 times per week for advanced students.
