Hi, I’m Wendy Waller!
I’ve been performing and teaching voice for over 30 years. I bring a warm, skilled approach to voice teaching, helping singers at every level find their strongest, most authentic sound. Combining performance experience, vocal technique, and practical training, I guide students to sing with confidence, health, and expressive artistry. My teaching is rooted in care, quality, and a true commitment to each singer’s growth.
My Approach
What started as a passion project is now a dedicated voice‑teaching practice. I’m proud of my journey and excited for the future. My studio stands out not for drills or a syllabus alone, but for the intention behind them: I learn each student’s voice, identify strengths and challenges, and design purposeful lessons. This is why I also teach in my home studio in Los Gatos, CA to help create a comfortable environment for my students.
REAL EXPERIENCE
I built my syllabus from my years on stage and in the studio. My teaching mirrors real performance pressures, small victories, and unexpected challenges—what works under lights and before audiences. Exercises simulate performance, emphasize practical prep and recovery, and develop lasting skills over quick fixes. Core values—respect for the voice, curiosity, and thoughtful practice—shape work that yields meaningful, lasting growth beyond any single show.
TAILORED TEACHING
Every singer’s voice is unique, so I tailor teaching to reveal each person’s authentic sound. I won’t try and make you into the singer that you aren’t, just the singer that you were born to be. If you want to shine with your own style and approach then look no further; I’d love to join you on your singing journey.
PERSONAL COACHING
I also personally coach each student for auditions and performances. Sometimes it’s hard to know what to do, or how to approach repertoire for an audition, but fear not, I’m here for you! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced performer let me help you tackle showtime with ease and grace!
Student Reviews
“I started working with Wendy 1 year ago with no prior experience. The instruction is excellent—specifically regarding vocal health and removing strain. I’ve noticed significant improvement in both my singing and my speaking projection. Wendy is accommodating of busy schedules and very encouraging. Highly recommended.”
