Pacifica Performances presents
“John Worley and the Sirens of the Pacific”
Saturday evening, March 5, 2016 at 7:30pm
Join us Saturday March 5th at the Mildred Owen Concert Hall in Pacifica. For this show, I will feature the enchanting voices of Amy Dabalos, Kat Parra, Wendy Waller and Morning Nichols – our beautiful west coast Sirens plus the talented Mo-Chi Quartet (Scott Sorkin, Ken Okada, Wally Schnalle and myself). If you appreciate fine instrumental Jazz (with lots of Chi!!) and powerful vocal talent, this concert is for you!! If you like surprises and FUN for the whole family in a relaxed setting, this show is for you too.
If you have enjoyed – or heard about – my fun and entertaining previous shows Let’s Get Lost, the music of Chet Baker (Amy Dabalos), Zooma Zooma, the music of Louis Prima & Keely Smith (Kat Parra), Tribute to Etta James and Women of Soul (Wendy Waller), and A Tribute to Billie and Sweets Edison (Morning Nichols), you will love this show and will leave smiling and happy that you gave in to the allure of these Sirens. Go early to see the sunset over the Pacific first and you have a completely memorable night…..
Also, for your added pleasure, I plan to sneak in a couple of selections from my new CD, Naivasha – on sale that night too.
This will be a very entertaining evening!
I am happy to be playing once again with Mo-Chi and four of the most talented and gifted vocalists in the Bay Area.
